This Return & Refund Policy (βPolicyβ) governs all purchases made on SSHERBAL. By placing an order, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein. This Policy is framed in accordance with applicable Indian laws including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and relevant e-commerce rules.
1. Nature of Products
SSHERBAL deals in Ayurvedic and wellness products which are consumable in nature. Due to hygiene, safety, and regulatory considerations, returns are strictly limited and subject to the conditions outlined below.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Returns shall be accepted only under the following circumstances:
- Product received is damaged, defective, leaked, or tampered at the time of delivery
- Incorrect product delivered (different from order confirmation)
- Incomplete order or missing item(s)
To qualify, the customer must notify SSHERBAL within 48 hours of delivery by providing:
- Clear unboxing video (mandatory for damage/shortage claims)
- Photographic evidence of the product and packaging
- Order details and invoice copy
Failure to provide sufficient evidence may result in rejection of the claim at the sole discretion of SSHERBAL.
3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Conditions
The following cases shall not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund:
- Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed
- Products returned without original packaging, labels, or seals intact
- Returns initiated after the prescribed 48-hour window
- Damage caused due to improper storage, handling, or misuse after delivery
- Personal dissatisfaction, change of mind, or subjective expectations
- Products purchased during clearance, discount, or promotional campaigns (unless defective)
4. Return Approval & Verification
All return requests are subject to internal verification and approval. SSHERBAL reserves the absolute right to:
- Accept or reject any return request based on evidence provided
- Request additional information or clarification from the customer
- Conduct quality checks before processing refunds or replacements
5. Return Process
Upon approval of the return request:
- Customers may be instructed to ship the product to a designated address or arrange reverse pickup (subject to serviceability)
- Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless the return is due to an error attributable to SSHERBAL
- Products must be securely packed to prevent transit damage
SSHERBAL shall not be responsible for products lost or damaged during return transit if not shipped as per instructions.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds shall be processed only after receipt and inspection of the returned product, where applicable.
- Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5β7 business days
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer or store credit after obtaining necessary bank details
- Shipping charges and payment gateway fees are non-refundable unless the error is attributable to SSHERBAL
Refund timelines may vary depending on banking channels and are outside the direct control of SSHERBAL.
7. Replacement Policy
Where feasible, SSHERBAL may offer a replacement in lieu of a refund. Replacement is subject to:
- Availability of the product
- Verification of defect or damage
SSHERBAL reserves the right to decide whether a case qualifies for replacement or refund.
8. Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled only prior to dispatch. Once the order has been shipped, cancellation requests shall not be entertained.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SSHERBAL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its products. Liability, if any, shall be limited to the purchase value of the product in question.
10. Fraud Prevention & Abuse Clause
SSHERBAL reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, or cancellations in cases of suspected misuse, abuse of policy, or fraudulent activity, including repeated return requests or unverifiable claims.
